According to property management personnel, the property has had a limited capital improvement expenditure program over the past three years, primarily consisting of new carpeting, exterior painting, and roof finish replacement. Supporting documentation was not provided in support of these claims but some of the work is evident.
Spatial Quality Assessment Summary
Mesa View was originally designed as a K-8 school and then converted to a grades 6 through 8 campus. Mesa View houses the middle school GATE programs. The community garden is an exceptional learning area that is maintained by community members, teachers, students, and the PTO. The school hosts many opportunities for immersive learning environments as land is abundant and open. The interior and program spaces need to be reconfigured and designed for 21st Century learning expression of curiosity, and hands-on exploration.
