The Ocean View School District was first established on coastal farmland in 1874, making it one of the oldest districts in Orange County. Today, the K‒8 school district provides services to a student population of more than 8,800 students, over 1,000 employees, and 15 elementary and middle schools, in addition to two preschools. OVSD serves all or portions of the cities of Huntington Beach, Westminster, Fountain Valley and Midway City. We are proud to build upon our rich history of high academic standards for all students and to provide a collaborative, nurturing learning environment aimed at lifelong success.
